Visionace® is a unique research based supplement that is used by leading UK optometrists and eye care specialists. Each tablet contains a range of nutrients, such as vitamins A, B2 and zinc which contribute to the maintenance of normal vision as well as Bilberry extract. Visionace® has been formulated using the latest scientific research into nutrition and normal vision. It is the only UK eye supplement to have been tested in published double-blind trials and to have been the subject of a complete PhD thesis. During a placebo-controlled, cross over study by the Department of Vision Science at Glasgow Caledonian University, Visionace® nutrients including vitamins A, B2 and zinc were found to help maintain normal vision.
“Having tested Visionace in my published nutritional research, I know just how good it is, and I like the fact it is so comprehensive. Visionace is ideal if a client is in front of a computer screen all day or uses contact lenses.” Professor Sudi Patel¹ Visionace® contains all the nutrients found to be helpful in the AREDS study (Betacarotene, vitamins C and E, zinc and copper), plus many others. Visionace® is suitable for vegetarians and contains high quality natural Lutein esters. Visionace® also contains a comprehensive range of vitamins, minerals and nutrients, such as natural mixed carotenoids, vitamins B3 and C and Bilberry extract so an additional multivitamin is not required.

Visionace® can be used by contact lens wearers or those working long hours at a computer screen. Vitamin A, riboflavin (vitamin B2) and niacin (vitamin B3) help to maintain normal mucous membranes. The conjunctiva is the thin delicate mucous membrane that covers the front of the eyes and also lines the insides of the eyelids. Nutrients such as vitamins B2, C, E and copper, manganese, selenium and zinc all contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Both the retina and lens are believed to be at risk of oxidation from free radicals which are produced by many factors including sunlight or cigarette smoke. Visionace® contains a complete spectrum of nutrients such as vitamin A, B2 and zinc which contribute to the maintenance of normal vision. Vitamin B1, riboflavin (vitamin B2), B6, C, niacin (vitamin B3) and copper also help to support the normal functioning of the nervous system. The retina contains one of the highest concentrations of zinc and Visionace® provides 150% of the recommended daily allowance.
